Bijan VIP
Top notes:dark plum, sparkling mandarin, and black currant
Middle notes: lily, jasmine, and Tiare flower
Base notes: Dark vanilla, creamy musk, and black amber
I was on a search for some type of Bijan perfume/edt/whatever. Bijan Nude made me want to jump through glass, Bijan Wicked smelled like patchouli, baby powder and Play Doh (not good), and regular Bijan reminded me of the old ladies that come into the office. You know the ones that are afraid of slipping in the shower so they just spray themselves with Bijan, Estee Lauder's Youth Dew, or even worse: Exclamation body spray. Blech.
After my nose recovered from those monstrosities I smelled VIP and Black. VIP and Black are somewhat similar to each other so that's why I'm only writing about VIP. VIP smells like cotton candy and the sweet, but not sickeningly, aroma of a cigar. "I smell cotton candy! Oh wait it's that old man's cigar..." Yea that smell. I like it though. It's not that slutty cotton candy smell either. Think of Bijan Black as the less cotton candy smelling of the two.
Bijan bottles are pretty nifty. They look like glass donuts with rings..? Plus the VIP has a little gold chain VIP charm. Nice. Tacky? Yes. But nice.
VIP is probably better as a "warm weather scent." It reminds you of the summer.
Would I buy again: Yes and would probably buy Black again too.
Target audience: probably wouldn't work well with the older crowd (50+). If you don't mind smelling fruity/sweet/candy-like then by all means buy VIP. You will get compliments. (Well I do anyway..)
